Branding for Bariatric
Surgical Straps

Jim Vish & Associates (JV&A) is a small family-owned business that provides medical facilities with bariatric surgical straps. Sandra Vish (their top sales rep) came to Robertson Branding to create marketing materials promoting their surgical belts.

The Goal

The primary goal for JV&A was to expand their client base and provide their product to more medical facilities outside of their current clients.

The Solution & Results

During my discovery session with Sandra, I learned that the business had no formal branding and would need that if the marketing was to take off. Further discussions with Sandre concluded that the straps weren’t Jim Vish & Associates’ only products.

To help JV&A achieve its goal, I proposed creating a multi-tiered brand using JV&A as the umbrella company.

I partnered with Jason Biggs (copywriter) to name and brand the bariatric straps as Sani-Strength. The name stems from the words sanitation and strong. I created a brand identity suite, art-directed a product photography shoot (Steven Morton Photography), and designed package labels. In addition to all that, I also designed marketing materials and a website.

As a result of JV&A and Robertson Branding’s work, Sandra had all the necessary materials to obtain new contracts successfully. In addition to having a polished branding experience for their flagship product, JV&A also had a visual guide for creating new products and selling them under their umbrella company.
